Founder Story

Rothana’s journey is rooted in resilience. After facing major life challenges, she turned her passion for food into purpose. In 2017, she founded Nusia Foods to share the flavors she grew up with and build something meaningful for her family and community.

Why I Created Nusia Sweet Chili Garlic Sauce

Sweet chili garlic sauce is a very popular dipping sauce in many Southeast Asian homes. Most of us grow up making our own version and enjoying it with a variety of dishes.

As I looked around grocery stores, I noticed that I rarely found a sauce that captured the familiar flavor I grew up with. That inspired me to create Nusia Sweet Chili Garlic Sauce.

My goal is to preserve the flavors of Southeast Asia and share them with people from all backgrounds. I wanted to create a sauce that is easy to enjoy, versatile, and brings communities together through food.
